Teaching Soundstage

The Teaching Soundstage, located on the first floor of 721 Broadway, serves as a location for the Department of Film and Television's classes for both the graduate and undergraduate programs, allowing students a place to be trained in lighting and shooting scenes for film and video in a professional setting. It is equipped with cameras and film stock, grip and lighting equipment, props and a house set.

A smaller version of the Teaching Soundstage, "Studio 7" provides a studio environment for classes like Actors Craft, Directing the Camera, Location Sound and others. Grip and lighting equipment, props and sets are housed there for curricular use.

The Teaching Soundstage and Studio 7 are available for curricular use only. For student shooting space, see the Todman Center.
