Media Internship I

1-12 points, variable.
 

Prerequisite: Must have completed two Sight and Sound Cores: Sight & Sound: Film (H56.0043), Sight & Sound: Studio (H56.0051), and/or Sight and Sound: Documentary (H56.0080). The number of points is determined by the number of hours worked. For more information, please consult the George Heinemann Memorial Internship Office in Room 1139.

Internships in film, television, radio, research, and community settings are arranged on a limited basis for those students who are qualified. In these professional internships, the student’s employer or supervisor evaluates the work of the student. These written evaluations are submitted to the faculty supervisor.  Internships may be taken for 1-12 points per semester, with a recommended maximum of 8 points in the Junior year and 16 points in the Senior year.  These will count as Production Craft credits.  No more than 24 points of internship credit may be taken toward the completion of degree requirements.
