Prerequisites: Sight & Sound: Film (H56.0043)

This course assumes the successful completion of Fundamentals of Sight & Sound Film. It will review B&W theory, cover color theory, and give an introduction to lighting and grip equipment. Basic lighting setups, as well as in-camera effects, are demonstrated and analyzed and will be shot on 16mm film.  Only half of the students in the class will get to shoot for one day during the semester.  The other half of the students will assist in the shoots.  This class is 8 weeks of theory and 6 weeks of shooting.
