Camera II: Film: Practical Applications of Cinematography

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Camera I: Film (H56.1065) with a B or better

Designed for the committed cinematography student. This is a practical application course where students who excel in cinematography have the opportunity to take their theoretical knowledge and apply it to interior lighting and shot design. All students are expected to formulate their own exercises for their shoot day, culminating in a presentation to the class. This class shoots in 35mm motion picture color negative film for 9 weeks. Crew participation and professional attitude are essential to the success of this course. This class will use Panavision and Arriflex cameras.
