Biography
Film and video producer-director and media consultant. Film directing credits: Out of Rock, Sing a Song of Children, and Adopting Children—Building Families. Extensive producing and directing credits in video include tapes made for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; New York City Human Relations Administration; Jewish Board for Family and Children's Services; School Crisis Counseling (NIMH grant); Manhattan Laboratory Museum; NYU Rehabilitation Counseling Program; Coalition for the Homeless. Recent video productions include Homelessness and the Search for Solutions-St. Francis Residence I (grants from NEA Mini-Grant Program and New York State Office of Mental Health); The Capitol Hall Story (postproduction grant, New York State Council on the Arts); Refractions/Reflections-Homelessness and Stigma (production grant, New York Council for the Humanities). Editor for Art in the Public Eye: The Making of Dark Star Park by Nancy Holt. Coauthor, Working with Video, 1986. Recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship (M.A.T. Program) and a Fulbright grant in art history.
