Intermediate Festival Page

The Intermediate Festival is a weekend-long celebration of work completed by students in Intermediate Animation, Color Sync Workshop, Intermediate TV, Experimental Workshop, Documentary Workshop, Study Abroad/ Fiction and Study Abroad/Documentary classes.

Guidelines for the lengths of projects participating in the showcase are dictated by curricular time limits as follows:

Maximum Lengths Including Titles & Credits

  • Animation:  up to 10 minutes
  • Color Sync Workshop:  up to 8 minutes
  • Intermediate TV:  up to 30 minutes
  • Experimental Wkshp:  up to 30 minutes
  • Documentary Wkshp:  up to 30 minutes
  • Study Abroad/ Fiction:  up to 15 minutes
  • Study Abroad/Doc:  up to 30 minutes
Promoted films from the Intermediate Showcase are included in the First Run Festival. Films exceeding time limits for their categories will be screened at the showcase, but not considered for promotion to the First Run Festival.
