04/28/2014 - Since 1989, The American Pavilion has offered opportunities in Cannes to film students from around the world. The 2014 Emerging Filmmaker Showcase will provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to have their works seen by Cannes Festival and Film Market attendees. Prizes will be awarded to filmmakers and the top twenty-one films will be screened in a special “Emerging Filmmaker” showcase at The American Pavilion in Cannes. More

09/08/2011 - Having run the table at the Tonys in June with their hit musical, “The Book of Mormon,” the “South Park” co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were back in New York on Tuesday, where they showed up as instructors at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Approximately 25 freshmen who perhaps expected to doze their way through the first day of a “Storytelling Strategies” course were instead treated to a surprise visit by Mr. Stone and Mr. Parker, who discussed the creation of projects including “South Park,” “Team America: World Police” and “The Book of Mormon.” More
